The reasons for choosing METEOR DP60
Philippe Voissot looks back at the path that led him to choose the Meteor DP60:
"We have consulted widely across the industry, investigated at all levels and conducted several phases of tests. Among the major manufacturer’s of digital presses, we had identified three presses based on various quality and productivity criteria. Ultimately, it was MGI’s economic cost per page model that sealed it for us; no fixed costs, no commitments on volumes and remarkable felixbillity in terms of applications possible with fantastic print quality, all on machine that was 1/3 of the cost of the other two presses in contention."
Just a few weeks after installation, San Jose Printing’s most demanding customers are already beginning to enjoy advantages of this equipment. Jean Pierre Couanon, Commercial Director, says "one of our clients came in at 10:00 AM to print 500 of his catalogues. At 10:30 he validated the proof directly on the DP60, which included Pantone colors. We immediately started the production and by noon, the 2,000 pages printed, finished and ready for a very satisfied client.
