Job Brief

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for the Asia Pacific territory.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience managing direct and indirect sales teams, especially in the graphic arts industry, while taking accountability for reaching targets. You should also be able to support a team of salespeople and set profitable goals. Our ideal candidates combine excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset.

Technical Engineer, Digital Printing Application Specialist

Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers for the operation, maintenance and repair of inkjet and electrophotographic printing and embellishment systems. This includes documenting work performed, tracking parts usage, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, loading software updates and performing preventative hardware maintenance at scheduled intervals.


  • Responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, service & support of MGI product lines of digital inkjet & toner printing equipment. These primary duties will be carried out both locally at the MGI USA Melbourne, FL location and onsite at remote customer or distributor locations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to handle requests efficiently; convey technical information in an easily understood manner; exceed customer expectations regularly
  • Identify urgent situations that require additional actions to satisfy the customer’s needs including escalations of technical issues and recommending machine operational solutions
  • Understand client/partner support levels & identify fee-based professional services activities
  • Provide operator and technical training with ongoing support to customers, business partners and the technical service networks of distributors (domestic and international).
  • Domestic and International travel will be required for customer visits, partner support and participation in periodic open houses, industry conferences and trade show events.
  • Installation and setup of MGI products at customer, dealer & international distributor facilities.
  • Perform all required equipment maintenance and technical problem-solving support required during service calls (via phone and or remotely) in the field, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide the sales and marketing team with necessary equipment demonstrations, print samples and technical support during Open Houses, Trade Shows, and Home Office Demos.
  • Test, prepare and/or repair components and equipment inbound or outbound as required.
  • Supervise logistic duties as required when handling inbound/outbound equipment & supplies.
  • High degree of self-motivation to succeed and dedicated to skill development & improvement
  • Read/Analyze/Utilize electrical wiring diagrams, technical documentation and repair manuals
  • Develop expertise with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) computer boards & firmware.
  • Actively participate and contribute to both training & teaching activities with clients & partners
  • Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by MGI management


  • Minimum 4 Year Degree in Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Preferred
  • Interest in technical equipment support; Comfort with using power & hand tools for repairs
  • Knowledge of Production Print equipment services is a major plus
  • Proficiency in time management and organizational discipline
  • Computer networking and software knowledge is necessary
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate technical data
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work independently, without direct supervision
  • Self-directed, multi-tasking ability is a must


  • Willingness to travel up to 40% - 50% of the time (domestic and international).
  • Strong responsibility, self-motivated, able to work under high pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Industry certifications in the area of color, project and/or networking
  • Prior offset or digital printing press experience is a major plus
  • This position is located in Melbourne, FL.
